What is Concrete Measurement Calculator?

This Concrete Measurement Calculator is designed to calculate the accurate volume and weight of concrete for different construction structures like Slab, Beam, Column, Footing, Stairs & Walls along with dry quantities of cement, sand and aggregate required for concrete mix. This calculator can also handle different shapes of columns and slabs (i.e., rectangular or circular)

How Concrete Measurement Calculator works for Slab

concrete Measurement Calculator for slab

Concrete Measurement Calculator gets the dimensions of the slab from the input section and then calculates the volume and weight of concrete using the following formulas:

How Concrete Measurement Calculator works for Beam

concrete Measurement Calculator for beam

Concrete Measurement Calculator gets the dimensions of the beam from the input section and then calculates the volume and weight of concrete using the following formulas:

How Concrete Measurement Calculator works for Column

concrete Measurement Calculator for column

Concrete Measurement Calculator gets the dimensions of the column from the input section and then calculates the volume and weight of concrete using the following formulas:

How Concrete Measurement Calculator works for Footing

concrete Measurement Calculator for footing

Concrete Measurement Calculator gets the dimensions of the footing from the input section and then calculates the volume and weight of concrete using the following formulas:

How Concrete Measurement Calculator works for Stairs

concrete Measurement Calculator for stairs

Concrete Measurement Calculator gets the dimensions of the stairs from the input section and then calculates the volume and weight of concrete using the following formula:

How Concrete Measurement Calculator works for Walls

concrete Measurement Calculator for walls

Concrete Measurement Calculator gets the dimensions of the wall from the input section and then calculates the volume and weight of concrete using the following formulas:

FAQs

1. What is the density of concrete?
Standard density of concrete is 2,400 kg/m³ or 65.12 lb/ft³.
2. What is a Tread in stairs?
Tread is the horizontal part of a stair where you place your foot.
3. How compute the quantity of cement, sand and aggregate?
Calculator uses the selected concrete mix ratio (e.g., 1:2:4 for M15) to divide the total dry concrete volume proportionally into cement, sand and aggregate quantities. For example:
  • Cement = (Cement Ratio ÷ Sum of Ratio) × Dry Volume
  • Sand = (Sand Ratio ÷ Sum of Ratio) × Dry Volume
  • Aggregate = (Aggregate Ratio ÷ Sum of Ratio) × Dry Volume
4. What is the standard weight and volume of a bag of cement?
The standard size of a cement bag is 50 kg and volume is 1.25 cubic feet.
5. What is the minimum thickness of a concrete slab?
The minimum thickness of a concrete slab should not less than 4 inches (100mm)

How do I calculate the amount of concrete needed for a slab with specific dimensions? For example, if my slab is 10 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 6 inches thick, how can I find the volume of concrete required?

Hassan

To calculate the concrete volume: Convert the thickness to feet: 6 inches = 0.5 feet. Multiply the length, width, and thickness: Volume = 10 ft × 8 ft × 0.5 ft = 40 cubic feet. So, you need 40 cubic feet of concrete. To convert this to cubic meters, divide by 35.3147: 40 cubic feet ÷ 35.3147 = 1.13 cubic meters.
